"Hey, Avyanna," I heard, and I looked behind me, only to find Cassandra walking toward me, making me smile.

"Hey, Cass. How are you? Are your wounds okay? You didn't get hurt too much, did you? I heard from Evander what happened. Thank you for trying so much for me. I heard you looked for me alone for an hour and got a lot of wounds while you were doing it.
