I just kept staring at Vanessa as she walked away, trying to digest the new information that jolted the hell out of me. Why would Mr. Johnson lie about his business objectives when Mr. Holt was investing in his company’s expansion? Unless……(thinking hard) he was offered this option only if he……(analyzing) withdrew his business alliance with…...Accent!

I gasp as I derive the precise conclusion. What else could it be? I couldn’t fathom any other reason. Why does Mr. Holt not want Accent dealing with Alfatel? We are not even based around the construction sector. Is he such a maniac that my refusal to drop Atkinson plc from our client list is taking a toll on his ego? That someone can walk away from the business deal he is offering?
