Serenity

The sun was high up as it was around afternoon. Andromeda was wearing a light pink colored dress with a sequin pattern. This is one of the dresses that Roselle had passed on to her, after accepting her proposal. Her golden hair was tied in a side braid. The light make-up made her porcelain white skin seem more enthralling. A bright smile made her squint her eyes and her cherry lips to turn upward.

Memories began gushing through her head.

Today, she returned to the place where she and Azrael departed. It was the third closest ocean nearby their workplace and apartment. She didn’t bother spending a few more minutes inside the cab if it meant she could be at the place that holds a special place in her heart.

The cool breeze of the ocean touched her delicate face, and the smell of the sea warmed her soul. It was serene and different from the noisy hustle and bustle sound of the city roads. Here, she was alone, a bit afar from the port where they landed before.
