Matt was surprised at her commitment to staying away from him. When she said, "no touching" she really meant it. She dropped Bobby off at her neighbor's as a guarantee that he wouldn't try to trick her into staying for more than one night. He tossed back the rest of his whiskey and stood up. When he swayed on his feet she reached to help him but he held himself perfectly still until vertigo passed. Sophia dropped the glass on the table and went to the switch to turn on the light. He looked worse than he did in the dark.
