Whose Mate?

“Do not lie to me,” Alarick snarled, “If you lie to me, I won’t think twice before making you reject it , is that clear?”

Leanda nodded, her whole body shaking with fear, “Yes…yes I understand,” she stuttered.

“I’m giving you some minutes to think it through, by the time I’m back, I want the truth from you. The truth and nothing but the truth,” he glared at Leanda and her body shook.

He stared at her for more minutes before heading towards the door.

Alarick stormed out of the room, his fists clenched tightly by his side. His body was shaking with anger, and he could feel his wolf clawing at his insides, desperate to take over. He was so furious with Leanda that he could barely contain himself. He felt embarrassed with what she did, he felt like a fool for bringing all the pack members together, just for Leanda to lie.
