Chapter 21

The cab stopped her infront of the company,she alighted and paid the driver.she walked into the company, going straight to the manager's office greeting everyone she passes by on the way.

She arrived at the manager's office.

"I am here to see the manager"she said to the secretary who glanced at her."do you have an appointment with him"the secretary asked.

"Yeah,he wants to meet with me"Mariana replied glancing at her watch to check the time.she wanted to go and visit her sister in the hospital.

"Wait,let me check"what's your name young lady?"

"Mariana Peters"she replied."ok"the secretary said picking up the telephone."okay sir",she said and dropped back the telephone.

"You can meet him,he is in his office",the secretary told her going back to her work.

"Okay,thanks"Mariana said to the secretary and strolled to the manager's office.

She knocked on the door."come in"the manager said and Mariana walked in.

"Good day sir"she greeted."good day,how are you doing?"the manager asked smiling.
