I watched in confusion as James lost consciousness due to the hard punch I had landed on his face during our first training session in the ballroom. I scoffed and rolled my eyes as I wasn't going to fall for his facade.

“James, your joke isn't funny, wake up we continue with the training,” I said, massaging my hand which knocked him out.

There was no response from him. He just lay on the floor as if he had fallen into a slumber.

I frowned, taking a step closer to his body to examine him. Maybe I had truly killed him. The thought immediately caused a cold shiver to ran down my spine. I hated James for how he treated me yesterday but I didn't want to be a widow at a young age.

“James, get up, we continue with the training. I don't have all morning to play your games,” I said, peeking at him with a raised eyebrow on the floor. He didn't respond but his breathing was stable.

I frowned...What's wrong with him?
