Armando had left for work about 30 minutes ago but Leonor remained upstairs because her legs still wobbled and hurt. It was almost lunchtime when Leonor finally came down for breakfast. The mansion seemed too quiet.

She looked around and only saw Gregg and a girl by the kitchen island. She walked over to Gregg and asked, "Why does the mansion seem empty?"

Gregg looked at her with a serious face. "Master Armando sent all the women away," he said.

Leonor's eyes widened. "All of them? Are you sure?" Gregg nodded. "Yes, they are all gone."

Leonor couldn't believe it. Why would Armando send all his women away? Did he really? She went back to check the quarters. She peeked into each room and saw that they were truly empty.
