Chapter 62: Traumatised

Nyx's POV

The rebels helped take Narin back to the dorm. Cindy assisted me in taking her to our room.

Narin was still shivering in fear and I felt great pity for her.

"Poor girl, why did she even leave the room past curfew to fall into Otis's trap and now she's shivering like a drenched cat?

Never knew that an evil place could reduce a strong figure into a visibly shakey and traumatized mess" Cindy sighed and patted my back.

"You take care Nyx, I'll see you later" Cindy smiled and dashed out of the dormitory at a swift speed.

"Must be good to be fast as a vamp. She could go places in a split second" I muttered and bolted our room door.

I prepared something warm and made Narin drink it to feel better. She had already stopped shivering and was now sweating profusely.

Most importantly, she was back to her normal self.
