While Ella was out and spending some quality time with her half-sister, Jessica, Javier was alone in his library which was connected to his office at home. He had promised a lot of people including his bedridden and unwell little sister that he wouldn’t do anything related to work. As appalling as that was, he attempted to honor his promise. Reading wasn’t actually working so that was what he resided to. After all, knowledge could be obtained through reading including knowledge of business and expansion.
