Anastasia POV:

In the evening, Ryan dropped me back to my home and he made sure I was fine. I exhaled loudly as he tucked me in the blanket like I am some baby.

"You don't have to do this." I murmured softly. He simply glanced at me and did not say anything. "I am sorry for wasting so much of your time." I felt guilty. He spent the whole day with me, I am sure that I became a hurdle in his work.

"It's okay. I worked from the hospital." He assured me that it is fine. "And you should also stop thinking about work for the time being and just focus on your health. Else I will forget that we aren't married yet and take you to my place. I don't mind us living together." He threatened me. My jaws dropped as I speechlessly looked at him.
