“Ivy Jane!” I ran inside the house that I had known for the last ten years to be my home to hug the woman who was no less than a mother figure.
“My baby!” Ivy Jane wrapped her arms tightly around me, engulfing me in the familiar scent that I could only term as home.
“How have you been? Are you hurt anywhere? Did you get held up against your will? Oh god! Are you finally back for good?”
Ivy held my cheeks in her palms while her eyes roamed all over me to search for any forms of injury or possibly any other signs of abuse. She only breathed a sigh of relief when she didn’t find anything.
“I’ll tell you everything.” I reassured her. “But first, let me greet everyone else.”

So this note is for those who might find it a little weird that a girl might become obsessed with a man on a whim and want it so badly to the point of going to such great lengths as to harming herself to get what she wants. If you think this is purely fictional and doesn't happen...it totally does. And it was something that had happened with me...just not to that extreme. Why am I sharing this?
