chapter forty-five

WRITER’S POV

Outside, the air was brisk and moist. The sun has already begun to set in the sky and inside, on a medium-sized bed lay Isabella. Soft moans at intervals escaped her lips and her snore, light and soft filtered in the room. She felt a sharp pain in her head as she rolled to the other end of the bed. Then she tried to open her eyes but her eyelids felt heavy. She managed to force them open only to be hit by the rays of the sunlight straying into the room.

“Aarhg shit...my head...” She groaned as she forced herself to sit up on the bed. She wondered why her head was aching her that much.

She felt her throat dry and dragged herself out of bed towards the refrigerator where she took out a bottle of water but as she made to lift the bottle and drink from it, a flash of memory hit her.

She froze.

“No, that can’t be. What is this...” she reeled back in shock and collapsed to the bed as the memories started to rear up, in fragment until it fully clicked in her head.
