NATHANIEL POV

I knew I had messed up. I could feel it deep to my bones. Olivia had been giving me the cold shoulder for a while now, and I was worried that we were drifting apart. I had tried everything to make things right between us. I had apologized to her, pleaded with her, but nothing seemed to work.

As I walked through the pack house, I saw Alexis sitting on the couch, her eyes glued to her phone. Maybe she could help me. After all, she was a girl, and maybe she would know what to do to get Olivia's attention.

"Hey, Alexis," I said, sitting down next to her. "Can I talk to you for a second?"

"Sure, what's up?" she replied, looking up from her phone.

"It's Olivia," I said, feeling guilty. "She's been giving me the cold shoulder since we had an argument, and I don't know what to do to make things right between us."

Alexis thought for a moment before speaking. "Why don't you get her something? Like a gift?"

"A gift?" I repeated, unsure of what she meant.
