OLIVIA'S POV

ONE would look at me like I was one form of sadist, but the truth was I wasn't .

I was happy for my friend, happy at the fact that she is going to have a child, though it still pointed out something in my life that was still missing. I could not ignore that fact.

Term it a tiny bit of Jealousy, then maybe that would be the right words to classify the state of mind I was in, but generally she was my best friend, and when I hugged her a few seconds later it came from the depth of my heart.

Perhaps, that was the reason she had failed to mention it. She had thought I would probably take the news badly and start counting off the things I didn't have and mapping it out from the things I had.

Regardless of it all, Nate didn't look at me this way. His facial expression was one I couldn't explain leaving a tenacious part of me wanting to know what the whole look was about.
