Gwen's POV

“Hey Gwen, Ricky asked to give you this,” Max said, handing me a note.

"I am a little busy, Max," I said, ignoring the note.

"I don't know what happened between you guys, and he would not tell me, but I know for a fact that he is deeply sorry."

“Great, a customer is heading here. Let's talk later Max.”

“Sure, I'd drop this here, read it if you have the chance”

I have been avoiding Ricky since the incident. I couldn't just deal with it.

Since he was the only friend I had in Oklahoma, I missed his company, but I decided it would be best if we kept our distance for the time being.

“That would be $90 ma'am. Cash or credit card?” I asked with a warm smile.

"Credit Card," she said, holding out her card.

"Thank you for shopping with us; please come again."
