I whispered, then leaped out, breaking through the window glass and landing smoothly in front of them. I leaned against the light, my face hidden beneath my hood. It darkens my face even more and makes my tattoo glow brightly.

"Who are you?" My target gasped in surprise, while his men stood up and alertly pointing their guns at me, making me groan internally.

Seriously?

Why is it that the first thing that is always pointed at me is a gun? Do they honestly believe that gun can kill me? Well, on a second thought, maybe it can, but not right away. They should use a missile, a bazooka, or something similar instead.
