100: All Fails (Part 1)

THE YEAR 1994 

       "I love you, but why does it hurt so much to move forward without you?"

She was soothed by his father by the time she was wiping the tears that came back from her eyes. She shifted from the log at where she was seated and stared through the smoke of the fire that his father had set up for the gloominess and coldness of the night. She slipped her hands through the jacket that she was wearing and she realized that she had been wet for the entire hours she was sitting down by the ground without covering. She sighed as her father had sat silently with her because he knew that she needed some time to think. 

She stood up from her seat and whispered, "I'll change, for now, Dad. I will join you later." 

She turned her heel around and go inside their hut. She switched the lights on as she fe
