CHAPTER 42

“Why won't you tell me what the surprise is about?” I begged Mike to tell me something about my surprise, but he kept quiet about it when we were driving to my apartment.

“Chill, you will see!” Mike said, smiling. I was getting more and more nervous every second, not knowing what should I expect in a few minutes.

“Fine!” I said angrily. Mike smiled lightly, and then touched my leg gently. I looked at him but he was looking the road, acting like his move was simply casual. The thing is, I don't know how to act now. Yesterday, we had a best time, we woke up together, we ate together, he's holding my leg while he's driving… Where do this all go? Are we together again? How can I ask him and not ruin this moments?

“We are here.” Mike said quietly after he parked his car in front of my building. He leaned towards me, giving me a kiss on my cheek. “Are you excited?” He asked gently.

“Nervous.” I said weakly. He grabbed my chin lightly and lif
