A shot penetrated the right shoulder of the female demon who was trying to prey on Casey. She bounced all the way to the back wall.

"Never touch my girl with your dirty hands, she-devil!" I hissed angrily.

"Gin?" Casey called.

She looked at me in despair. Casey tried to get up while wiping the tears that were almost dripping from the edge of his coat sleeve.

I continued walking past Casey. I approached the demon, who was curled up at the end of the hall while enduring the pain. The bullets I used were specially made to kill shadow creatures. Made from a mixture of silver and titanium.

This bullet can injure or even kill shadow creatures if used correctly; it must hit their heart or head.

I've practised my shots thousands of times so that they hit the target. Unfortunately, the devil's head was initially too close to Casey. I could have shot her in the head, but it was too risky because it would probably hurt Casey.
