Chapter 37: Angel of Death

“Hey, why are you guys looking at me?”

Everyone was staring at Kyra, so she suddenly felt ashamed. “Well, you’re good at spells,” said Cael.

“But you are good too,” said Kyra. “Even Damon and Raven can cast a spell. We trained them.”

“Are you refusing?” Cael asked.

“Y-yes,” said Kyra. “I know it’s funny, but I fear her, of the ghost, I mean.”

Everyone was silent. The brave Kyra is afraid of ghosts. “Okay, I’ll do it,” said Cael.

‘No, Kyra should do it.’ Tyler thought.

Everyone started walking inside the building. Tyler stopped Kyra from taking a step. Kyra turns to Tyler.

“Why?” Kyra asked.

It surprised Kyra when Tyler suddenly touched her other cheek and brought his face close to hers. Kyra fully imagined that Tyler would kiss her. Kyra was nervous. Tyler stared into her eyes.

Tyler smiled wholeheartedly, thinking he couldn’t control Kyra. He looked at Kyra’s face. Her eyes were expressionless, a sign that she was already in his control. He looked down at Kyra’s sharp nose d
