Chapter 60: She's a Demon
Kyra woke up that she was already home. She was lying on her bed. She sat up in bed and held her head. What happened earlier flashed back at her. After they defeated the demon, he seemed to have lost himself. Spontaneously, her mouth opened to eat the energy from the demon that had died. But something was preventing her from doing that. Kyra didn’t know who and why, but it didn’t succeed. Whoever that creature’s defense weakened, and Kyra ate the energy she wanted.

Kyra looked at the door. Luke was standing and carrying water. Luke handed it to Kyra, who took it and immediately drank it. Kyra finished a glass of water in just one drink. She felt her throat dry out. Luke took the glass from Kyra.
