Chapter 73: The Statue

“You went to church at this hour to take a video like everyone else is doing.”

Cael, Kyra, Damon, and Raven sat in the priest’s office. The priest prepared something to drink for them. Damon looked around the office. There was a bookshelf on the side of the window, there was a sofa on which they sat and there was also a long table on the left side. The priest has a desk next to the bookshelf. He only sees a normal office and there is nothing suspicious. He noticed the old book on the bookshelf.

“We will not take a video, father,” said Damon.

“It’s good then. You know, it’s also tiring to face the camera almost every day.” the priest said with a laugh.

“Don’t you feel weird here, father?” Kyra asked.

“Like what?” the priest asked.

“Of anything strange,” said Kyra.

“Why are the saints here in your father’s room so strange?”
