"Mallama Baki biyani ba fa" he shouted which stop and hit her forehead with her hand before she turn to him
"Sorry. Mantuwa na yi" with that being said she paid and Sprint inside the compound. "Umma. Umma" she begin to shout even before she reach the room.
"Ke yarinya na yaushe Zaki girma?" Baba asked "daga dawowar ki da Kiran sunnan Umma ki ko" her Baba said laughing at her behavior. She pout "Haba Baba. You know she was sick before I left for school that's why" she replied still pouting"Diyata manta da Baban ki. Na samu sauki lafiyata kalau yanzu" her Umma said smiling. She sat close to her Umma cuddling her.
"Toh mage. Let your Umma rest" Baba said teasing Tehzeeb"Hummm. Umma kin ji Baba ko?" she said pouting her mouth still "Ni de Inna so inji dumi Ummata. Koko Umma Kai na da nauyi?" She turned asking her Umma.
"Baza ki taba min girma ba diyata" Umma said stroking her head.
Tehzeeb sigh and smile in contentment seeing her mother a little bit strong unlike in the morning. They were all seating in the room with smile plastered on there faces. Especially Tehzeeb because she love seeing her parents in good mood. She don't like seeing them in foul mood.
They were in there family moment when they heard the Salam from outside the room
"Salam Alaikum" someone said from outside. " Bari inje in gani" Tehzeeb said getting up from her mother's lap.
"Walaikum Salam" she replied before coming out of the room, but stop abruptly immediately she saw her
"Khady"she said but got no reply "Khady. Am sorry. I know you're angry with me for not saying goodbye before I left"."Hummm because you know how to say sorry and know I can't stay angry with you for long. You should've waited for me" Khady said a bit angry with Tehzeeb
"Am sorry. Na damu ne da jikin Umma shi yesa"
"Tunda ba Umma na ba ko. Ba mastala" Khadija said leaving Tehzeeb there before she said Salam and enter Umma room.
"Umma mu ya jiki" said Khady
"Jiki da sauki"
"Allah Kara sauki"
"Ameen. Ya makaranta"
"Lafiya lau Umma" Khady said before turning to face Baba "Baba ya aiki"
"Aiki lafiya diyan Albarka. Ya Boko?"
"Boko is fine" Khady reply smiling
"Toh Allah bada sa'a" Baba said
"Ameen" Khady continue to chat with Umma and Baba forgetting about Tehzeeb. When Tehzeeb notice that Khady didn't talk to her she intervened "Haba kawata am sorry. Umma help me and plead with her"
"No ooo. Kun fikusa. It's between you two don't include me" Umma said smiling
"Umma" she pouted like a baby "You're nothing help the situation. Baba plead with her for me please"
"Oh ooo ni kunfi kusa. Kun ma gan tafiya ta" Baba reply leaving the room with smile still on his face.
"You see no one is supporting you"said khady "But have forgiven you. Next time don't do that again" before Khadija finishes her statement she was engulfed in a bone crushing hug by Tehzeeb "thank you, thank you, you're the best. Let me go and cook"
"Let me help you out" they left leaving Umma all alone in the room. They finished cooking and serve there self. After eating Khadija bid them farewell because it's was getting late already.
Umma have recovered and was back to her normal self. Baba have been going to his work place since Umma recovery's. Tehzeeb have been busy with her lectures and assignment.
Umma finished cooking with the help of Tehzeeb since it was weekend and there was no lecture. She ate together with her Umma before they both perform ablution to pray. After praying Tehzeeb entered her parents room. "Umma bari Inkai wa Baba abunchi"
"Toh Bari muje tare. I want to stroll a bit all my joint are stiff from staying in one place" Umma said adjusting her wrapper before she put on her hijab.
"Umma are you sure?" Asked Tehzeeb" You need to rest"
"Oh ni Habiba. I can't even stroll again?" Umma asked her
"Umma it's not like that"
"Then how is it? Hun tell me"
"You're just recovering. You need all the rest before you gain your strength back"
"Have I not been resting since. Being sick and in one place is just like resting"
"No it's not. That's different"
"Okay have heard you. Close the door let's get going"
"Okay Umma" Tehzeeb lock the door before they both went out and begin to stroll to Baba's rumfa where he sells kayanmiya. Umma speak up after some minutes "Tehzeeb ya karatun?"
"Lafiya Umma"
"Hope there's no problem?"
"No"
"Are you sure?" Umma said emphasising on are you sure because she knows Tehzeeb
"Yes Umma am sure"
"Good don't hesitate to tell me when you're having trouble. You know am always here for you"
"I know Umma and thank you for being there for me. Am proud to have you both in my life"
"We're proud of you too and In Sha Allah we will forever be proud of you our daughter"
"Than you". They arrived a shortly at Baba's rumfa where he sell kayanmiya " Sanu da kasuwa Baba" Tehzeeb said smiling at her father
"Ahn ahn. What a pleasant surprise" Baba said smiling at them "what did you have for me?" He asked looking at them both with contentment
"We brought you food. We know you're hungry by now. Or Umma what did you say?" Tehzeeb said looking and waiting for her Umma replies
"You're right" Umma reply
"Nagode. Am really ferminsh but don't want to come home yet. But thank you for bringing it for me"
"Your welcome"they said in unison
"Here" baba moved showing them a chair "come and sit for a while before you leave"
"I don't feel like seating down now. You know am out for strolling and when strolling you don't seat" Umma said gesturing the chair for Tehzeeb to seat.
"Won't you be tired?" Tehzeeb asked with concern
"No I won't. Don't worry we will soon be leaving" with that being said they continue to chat for a while before Baba ate his food. When he finish eating Tehzeeb pack the plates together before she stands up "Umma let's be going so that Baba will concentrate on his business"
"You're right my dear. Toh mun Wuche sai ka dawo"
"Will see you both when I come back. Be careful and watch where you are going because of careless drivers"
"Don't worry. We won't go close to the road" replied Tehzeeb. Umma and Tehzeeb were walking carefully along the road side to avoid any accident. They were not far from Baba's rumfa when from no where a car hit Umma
"Umma" Tehzeeb shouted bending down to check on her mother. But luckily enough nothing was wrong with her. She picked her up not knowing Baba was already by there side."Are you okay? Are you hurt?" Baba asked all the questions at once his voice trembling
"Am okay. It's just a brush nothing else" Umma replied dusting off her clothes
"Don't say that Umma you were lucky" before Tehzeeb could say another word a voice interrupt them
"Haba dan Allah. Are you blind?. Don't you have eyes or what?" The guy that drive the car said. To say Tehzeeb was shock by the guy's speech was an understatement because she was speechless to even form a sentence to answer him.
"Haba yaro na. You're at fault and should apologize not the other way round" Baba said in a calm voice
"Don't tell me that. And waye yaron ka?" He said looking Baba from head to toe "let me warn you next time look at me very well before you spouts rubbish from your mouth. Do I look poor to you" before he could form another sentence Tehzeeb slap him twice leaving all of them bewildered

Immediately they arrived at home Tehzeeb burst into a series of tears streaming down her face. She was in pain about what happened. She easily get emotional when it's comes to her parents. She abhor seeing them in pain or being look down on just because they're nobody. The wealth which she knows Allah can take it away from whosoever he wish to take it away from but because of that worldly thing some look down on her parents.When she remembers the look the guy gave her parents she cried more than before and clutch onto her chest more tightly"Haba Tehzeeb. Tehzeeb has been busy with her studies because they were already in test week. Which most of the lecturers will not announced the day they will write, they will just come to the class and asked them to tear a sheet of paper for test. The best relationship is that which is built on trust, understanding and respect.
