Argue Again

Axel blinked, not expecting Aura to have such a negative thinking of his father.

A hint of annoyance visited Axel's heart, but he tried to push it away. Considering what daddy Charles had done, it was understandable if Aura to still feel unsure! Axel couldn’t let himself be swayed by emotions.

"Daddy would never trap anyone, Aura. If he didn't give his blessing, Daddy would say it openly, as he did before. He's a businessman, he'll say what's on his mind. Daddy is not cunning person!" Axel defended.

"You can speak like that because you're his son. It's understandable for you to defend him!" Aura grumbled. Axel sighed, trying to be patient.

"I'm not defending Daddy, Aura. I'm just stating what I know. I understand my dad's nature. He's always honest, both in business or in other matters!" Axel explained patiently. Aura scoffed, reluctant to believe.

"Tell me why you don't trust Daddy Charles?"

"I don't want to say it!"

"Why?"

"Because you're his son!"
