Chapter fifty one

“It was nice having you guys for dinner and thank you for accepting my invite”, Mr Robert said facing the guests.

“I guess I’ll leave you guys to it, and let the younger ones enjoy the rest of their evening”, he added and proceeded to take his leave upstairs.

“It was a lovely dinner, thank you very much sir”, Sophie added immediately Mr Robert went upstairs.

“You are welcome”, Damon added plainly as he took his gaze back to me.

“Thanks for having me too”, I appreciated damon and jothan. Maybe Mrs stone didn’t say anything to her son because he didn’t look at like an accomplice or like he knows me or anything. Or was I expecting too much?

Jothan Seems like a lovely kid and was joyous through the dinner and gave me lots of smiles, the only thing that seemed weird was when he raised his head suddenly to him and had a funny look on.

“Can I drop you at home?”, Phil asked before anyone else would ask.

“Hmmm no I’m fine, I can find my way”, I replied as I noticed Damon staring at me
