Chapter twenty eight

~Sophie’s pov~

Nora thought I would give up after Naomi had dinner at Damon’s. I’ve loved Damon for years and I don’t plan on stopping anytime soon.

Of course at a point I thought there was no hope for me and I wanted to do this with only my efforts. I wanted to deserve his love but no I can’t just sit here and watch Naomi take him away from me.

It took me a lot to beg my dad to continue and push forward for a business deal with Zino’s cooperation. In Fact he was ready to close that chapter and forget about the deal because of Damon’s disapproval, but I really need this compliance now.

And now I get the chance to have dinner with Damon’s dad and I’m sure Damon is going to be there now that he knows about it.

I feel quite positive about this dinner, my dad is going to be retiring soon and my only cousin is taking over very soon. Maybe Damon should be able to work better with him and maybe we could get closer too.

“Hey, how are you? You’ve been terribly quiet for days”, D
