ANTHONY’S POV

I sat in my study distracting myself with work. I was looking over a layout for the recent contract we signed for an amusement park when I heard the knock on the door.

“Come in I intoned”

Alexa walks in. She looked so hot in whatever she wore. She didn’t even understand the effect she had on me.

“Anthony, we need to find Nolan, It’s been two days.”

I felt a sharp pain in his chest at the mention of Nolan’s name.

I'm sorry, Alexa, but I can't help you. Nolan is an adult, and he can take care of himself. Besides, he probably doesn't want to be found."

Alexa's face fell, and she looked at him incredulously. "How can you say that? He's your son, Anthony. He needs your help."

"I know he's my son, but he's also a grown man. He's made his choices, and he has to live with the consequences. I can't keep bailing him out every time he messes up."
