Finding The Gem

Drake floated in the open space while trying to recover himself. The poison in the elf arrows was not a poison that could be dissipated easily. If he did not concentrate, then the poison could immediately spread to his heart. At that moment, no matter how powerful Drake was, he would still die. Drake could hardly believe that he had turned into this weak after centuries of peace without war.

As his eyes closed, Drake's mind could not help but drift to the past, where dragons were still flying in the sky. That day, Drake walked around with his human body. He was one of the first dragons to master the shape-shifting science. Drake likes to walk around humans, talk to them. Weak humans always ask for help from other creatures for everything. In those days, humans considered them friends, or gods. They haven't gotten as greedy as they are now, at least that's what Drake thought.
