Chapter 17: Introduce to the crowd

Gideon was dumbfounded while recalling the conversation he and Isabel had about her parents last night. He just went back to senses after hearing Kevin's knock and entering his office.

"Good morning, Sir." greeted Kevin.

"Good morning, Kev, come here. I'll have you do something." Gideon said seriously, pulling out a pen and a scrap of paper.

Kevin frowned as Gideon wrote on that piece of paper and handed it to him.

"What shall I do here, Sir?" he asked.

"Go to the police station and look for those two people's records; they died in an accident twelve years ago; you need the exact date and reason for the accident, is that clear?" Gideon directed.

Despite his wonder, Kevin simply followed Gideon's orders. He exited the office politely and accidentally ran into Isabel, who was still holding a tray.

"Geez, I'm sorry Sir Kevin." Isabel apologized.

Kevin nodded and suddenly stopped when he saw her name tag, he looked at the piece of paper written the name of Isabella Smith and Lucio Smith.
