Chapter Fourteen II

Silence engulfed the whole dining area that even the slightest noise the cutleries were making as an interaction between them happened becomes distinct that it echoed throughout the hallway. No one dares to speak. Their eyes were glued on their plates, petrified that by chance their eyes will meet. 

"Sir, I received a call from the bodyguard and he said that Sir Kingston is waiting for you outside," the maid said, breaking the silence between Celestine and Vincent. 

She slowly sliced the ham on her plate. Her eyes swiftly glance in Vincent's direction. He wiped the corners of his mouth using the table napkin. 

"Tell the guard to let him in. I'll wait for Kingston inside of my room," Vincent said before he abruptly stood up from his seat.
