Chapter Seven II
Abigail hurried to the room where Mr. Stevenson was confined. It was a miracle that only a few hours after taking the old man to the emergency room he immediately regained consciousness. The old man sustained many injuries but luckily, only minor injuries which may have caused him to get back to his consciousness immediately.
When Abigail entered the room she saw the old man trying to slowly open his eyes. She approached the old man and immediately checked his condition.
After making sure that the old man was well, the doctor tried to talk to him.
"Mr. Stevenson, can you speak? Can you hear me?"
The old man slowly nodded which caused Abigail to smile.
"Myla," she called the nurse.
"Yes, Doctor Abigail?"
"The patient is fine now. He just needs to rest, and wait for his wounds to heal. Later, when he regained his strength ask him to move his legs. If he can walk, he's ready to get discharged by tomorrow."
