You declared that all of the expenses here tonight would be on you, so go get it settled at the counter. If you don’t, I’ll make sure you have it settled at your house!”

Stone was a member of the circle, so of course, he did not mean it when he said he would head up to Harold’s doorstep to settle his bill.
