Chapter Twenty Four

Jasper saw Kelvin rush out of Raina's office like he was chased out, he burst into laughter. Kelvin scoffed and left in anger. Jasper imagined Raina's face right now, Kelvin must have done what he's not supposed to do to make her angry.

He also stayed away from her office since she didn't invite him.

Jessa came again by lunch break, she came into the building to personally ask Jasper. He did not want to go before, but then he decided against it. Raina would only get mad that shouldn't stop him from doing what he wants. They went to a restaurant that's not close to the company on Jessa's treat.

Bella at this time was just passing by, she went into the restaurant to get something for Jasper, since he might still be at work. She wanted to use that excuse to visit him. It's been days and they have not talked or seen each other yet.

She bumped into Jessa and Jasper coming out. She froze in shock, her eyes went to Jessa's hands and saw how they intertwined with Jasper's hand.

"Bella?"
