Chapter 14

August's POV

My days did not go well. All the students there are talking about me. Sometimes I want to approach them and poke them in the eyes because if they look at me, I'm like a big monster they've only seen before.

I don't understand because my being a human is not a secret but it didn't spread then, or maybe those who knew were just gossips and gossips or maybe they just didn't care. But now, the conversation seems to have become the instant talk of the town, how I got into the Academy, and why I was allowed to get in the first place.

Even the professors are becoming cool with me but the others are still the same. My being human is not a big deal to them. Mostly the students are afraid of me and I don't know because I don't look like a villain. They didn't know before, they didn't even doubt me because I looked normal.

"She is the rumored human right?"
