August's POV

This is unbelievable. We are hiding right now in these thick bushes and no one can see us even though the sun is still shining. It's also noisy because there are so many people drinking that you think it's a party. There are also girls dancing that I don't understand what kind of dance it is. As long as they are like worms, the movements go around.

The houses are just made of pieces of wood. I don't see any decent home here, there is only the biggest one but it is made of a tent. They are wearing bandanas and mouth covers so you cannot recognize them.

"There are many of them," Cayden promised me. His voice is not flirtatious or anything. It's serious and has no intention of playing around.

"There's only one way," I answer here.

"What?" This is a question.

"Be them." My answer.
