Chapter 1937

James hastily made his way to the Callahans’ villa.

As soon as he entered the villa, he asked anxiously, “Winnie? Where’s Winnie?”

He was aware that Winnie had been taken, but his mind was clouded by his worry for her.

The entire Callahan family remained silent.

James plopped himself down on the sofa. He pulled out his phone again and called Maxine.

Meanwhile, in Cansington, Maxine was standing on the top of a building. From here, she could see the Callahans’ villa. Behind her stood a few men.

“Chancellor, they’ve been escorted out of Cansington,” said the person behind her.

“Alright.” Maxine nodded softly and said, “Pass down the order to take good care of the child. Don’t let the child suffer any harm.”

“Yes.”

Right then, her phone started to ring. Remaining calm and collected, she answered it.
