The Coronation

***Charlie POV **

My Father did not return to the apartment that night so Emmett and I spent the evening going over the plans for the arriving Alpha's, Lunas and otherworld royalty that would descend on the Palace the following day. We worked in comfortable fashion together with Emmett holding me firm to his side or on his lap keeping our wolves happy at the close proximity of our mates.

I opened my eyes as the first rays of light came through the partially pulled blinds. I was laying on Emmett's chest so I happily inhaled his delicious scent. I ran my finger absentmindedly in soft circles on his lower abdomen before Emmett's hand shot out in quick movement to stop my wandering fingers.

"Little mate I suggest you stop that or I will lock you in here for the day arriving dignitaries or not." His voice was a deep growl and I looked up through my eyelashes to see Titan's dark eyes staring down on me possessively.
