Aaron's POV

It's been four days since the incident with Kenneth happened at the pack, and the weight still lingered heavily in the air, especially today, which was set aside as the day to bury and honour the ones we lost.

Natalia had been so quiet, and it seemed as if she was afraid of attending the funeral. I knew that she was feeling guilty again, especially because of Cressida. She had been with Cressida's little sister, taking care of her, showering her with love and affection. It wasn't unusual for Natalia to take care of children, but she seemed to be bonding with this one. I wondered if it had something to do with her guilt.

My Luna was strong, and I knew that it would take a little while more, but I knew that she would eventually find herself. She would eventually be happy, and I would do everything in my power to make sure of that.
