Playing cricket.

I stretched my hands forward and started struggling for something to grab. If only I was able to grab the air then that would have been super nice, but I can't.

I struggled with all my strength and when I figured out that it was useless I decided to give up.

Giving up, I close my eyes and accept my fate of being bitten by a half-dead creature.

A whole minute passed and I felt nothing. I didn't feel my blood being sucked and neither did I feel any pain in my neck.

What's going on?

I slowly opened my eyes and to my surprise, I saw the last thing which I currently wished to see. "Ahh!" I scream while pushing myself backward.

The person is none other than the devil who claims his name to be Orlan.

His face was a few inches away from mine, and his greenish hazel eyes were reading me both inside and out.

"Are you alright?" He asked with his gentle voice.

Pffft! Now he's trying to behave gently towards me.

"Do I look alright?" I asked him with a hoarse voice.
