Weird

A knock was heard from the door, which made me take a step away from Orlan.

I'm aware that Lucas is waiting for him but it would seem awkward if Lucas had to enter the room and see both Orlan and me standing beside each other as we breathed heavily.

"I'm going, Scarlett!" Orlan stated as he made his way towards the door.

Before he could successfully make his way towards the door, I pulled the edge of his suit and drew him closer to me.

"I... I'm going to miss you." I stutter, not wanting to seem like a desperate wife who doesn't want her husband to be away from her.

"Scarlett!" Orlan called out my name, as he placed his hands on my shoulder, which supported me in standing firm. "I love you, Scarlett! And I'm aware that you don't love me but I just want you to forever know that you are my number one treasure." He said with a hypnotizing hoarse voice.

I swallow my saliva while nodding my head promptly for no freaking reason.
