Chapter 36: Dreading Friday Night Bonfires

 I dread Friday night bonfires. While everyone is out here waiting for the pack run to commence, I’m just here feeling self-conscious, because even at 18 years old, when I should already have my wolf, I still don’t. 

 But like the doting girlfriend to the pack host’s alpha heir that I am, I stand next to Cillian in support and solidarity while he rounds up all the wolf bloods in attendance and commend everyone for this week’s hard work and accomplishments.  

 “You sure you’re going to be fine waiting here for me? You can just wait for me in your room. I’ll be back in like an hour. Well, an hour and a half, tops.” Cillian tells me while holding me against his big, hard chest.

 “I’m sure. Gisella will keep me company. I’ll be so bored in my room knowing  that you’re here having fun.” I say. Cillian shakes his head after throwing a glance at Gunner and Gisella flirting.
