Chapter 46 She Was Kidnapped

HERMIONE'S POV

When I opened my eyes, flashbacks started to rewind in my head. It reminds me of how I got here and why I am in this situation.

My hands were tied on the bed, and so did my legs, preventing me from escaping.

When I looked at my surroundings, I found out that other than a door, there were no windows.

I don't know what time it is now.

The only thing I know is that Elijah had betrayed me.

But why?

I don't remember engaging in a fight with him nor do we have conflicts. He was good to me and I was also good to him.

So why did this happen?!

I heard the creaking sound of the door, and into that door, Elijah's satisfied gaze had come into view and he was holding a tray filled with food while walking towards me.

“You're already awake, my love.” He softly said and his eyes were lovingly looking at me.

The way he looked at me sent me shivers.

“Why are you doing this, Elijah? This isn't like you!” I couldn't help but voice out my dissatisfaction as I looked at him.
