" Lucille, let me explain " Killian said, despite his words he didn't try letting go of Kira, he was still holding onto that bitch like she was the most precious thing in the world. She at least had the decency to shuffle out of his arms and hurriedly tried to make herself presentable. Like her pulling down her dress would remove the image of my mate fucking her from my mind. Killian watches her with a concerned look, then he goes to pull up his pants. He turns his gaze to me once more while my sister cowers behind him.

" HOW COULD I HAVE BEEN SO STUPID! " I blamed myself for my ignorance. This was why Killian had insisted I invite Kira to the party, it wasn't because Asher liked her, it was because he was cheating on me. I felt so hurt and betrayed that hot tears ran down my face despite how much I tried to remain unfazed.
