CHAPTER 30

“ I have been waiting for you”

“What you knew we were coming” I asked

I thought the witch was going to be an extremely old person but this witch in front of me looks very young, if I could guess right, she would be just few years older than me.

“Sit” she ordered, I looked around but didn't see any seat, so I assumed she was ushering us to the floor, Dante sat down and gave me a look to do same.

We all settled down including the witch.

“I had been informed that you would be in my coven on a day like this”

She paused and looked at Dante

“Old friend it's been long we met” she acknowledged like she was just recognizing him now.

Dante was uncomfortable, the way she looked at him made me wonder their history as friends.

“The prophecy you have come to seek is a good one indeed” she said, turning to me suddenly.

She stood up slowly and progressed towards where Dante was sitting, touching his shoulders seductively and going round him.
