Chapter 31: Alric's Sister?

“Water! Hurry and bring more water!” From a distance, Alana could hear a woman, demanding more bottles of water.

“Yes, mother of all.”

“Dean, what’s taking that water so long? Where is that water?”

“Coming, mother of all!”

Alric was probably the strongest creature Alana had ever met. Right after she had an emotional breakdown, he lifted her with one arm, her torso pressed on his right shoulder, and to his left, he circled Kai with his other arm.

She tried to reason with Alric, asking him to put her down, but he just would not allow it. He did not seem to want others to touch both her and Kai. 

Whatever gathering that transpired inside the ring concluded, and Alana and Kai were now rushed into one section of the arena where many of the prominent-looking individuals had earlier sat.
