Chapter 61 - Aiden

The three of us sit in the kitchen. Evelyn left with Ariella and I can tell it has left Beta Cayden, and especially Alpha Jackson on edge. I truly do not know why they fear her. She meant no harm, and there was no evil in her, though I do not think they can sense auras the way I do.

This old seer had every good intention toward my new mate, I could feel that the moment she walked into the kitchen. Though her feelings toward Alpha Jackson were somewhat mixed, that was clear. She seemed to find some joy in irritating him, but with the way he disrespected her, I find that was more than justified.

“So, do you believe everything she’s said?” Beta Cayden asks.

“Has she really told us much?” Alpha Jackson asks.

And I find myself smiling. He desperately wants to fight this possibility.

“Well she did have quite a lot to say…” Beta Cayden begins.
