“Becca... The children, I didn’t hear their heartbeat,” I said to Ezra as I was drawn to oblivion.

My eyes flung open, I looked around me sitting up and then I saw I was in a room that looked like a hospital room.

I stood from where I sat and went to the first door I saw, it was a bathroom. I went to wash my face first before picking the towel to dry my face. After I was done I looked at myself in the mirror and saw myself.

My black hair looked longer and I noticed it’d been like that ever since I took in that new power. I sighed looking at myself.

Perhaps I shouldn't have taken in that new power, I was so invested in revenge that I didn't realise this new power might be the end of me.
