Hundred and five

Veronica stopped and then I turned to her. She started to stare at me, very much with those brown eyes of hers, and then the emotions I have kept in all these while started to ooze out of me.

“Why did you leave?” she asked, her voice sounding like that of a mother should. Why does she have a way of bringing out the part of me that I didn't want to show anymore?

“It hurt...” My voice came out lower than I thought it would, my emotions spilled out. My eyes stung from the pain of drawing back my tears. Veronica knew, she understand and she just nodded caring less about all. I loved that she didn't step back from me, she pulled me in.

She didn't care if I was a man pouring out my feeling like mom would constantly mock me of. Veronica liked it better when I let out of my emotions.

“It's fine, it's fine...” she patted my back with one hand and then used the other to rub my head. Her hand on my head was soft and I loved the way my jaw went to her shoulder. It was perfect, every thought I
