Infidility

The moment he stepped inside his room, Logan understood that something is wrong. He can sense it in the air. He cannot feel Hera anywhere. He checked inside her room to make sure that he is not mistaken. Her scent is faint, which means she was there a few hours ago and now she is gone.

'Where is she? I thought she must be tired of everything that happened last night and would be sleeping until late ' he thought with a frown.

He tried calling her but found her mobile ringing in his room. Belatedly he noticed a paper fluttering under her mobile. When he approached the bedside table, he saw the Black Amex card he gave her the previous day. His gut instinct told him everything he doesn't want to believe. He read the note without touching it. 

'Sorry, Logan. This is my problem, and I will solve it on my own or die trying. You are my friend and the only person I care about. I don't want to see you getting hurt because of me. Goodbye,' the note read.
